Healthy nutrition. Health pets. Keep it pure, simple, and natural.
California Natural Herring & Sweet Potato Formula adult cat food can be summed up best as nutrition pure and simple. By using as few ingredients as possible, and only those of highest quality, California Natural fits special pets' needs where owners prefer to offer a limited ingredient food.
Ingredients are specifically selected to be tasty, easy to digest and nutrient rich. Herring - a single, top quality protein source - also provides omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are balanced in proportion with linoleic acid; the omega-6 fatty acid found in sunflower oil needed to help maintain healthy skin and coat.
A dietary alternative to rice.
Whole sweet potato, along with barley and oatmeal, are all three complex carbohydrates that are critical to providing energy and endurance, but are more slowly digested and absorbed than many of the common grains found in other pet food.
